Amazon wanted to increase awareness of the breadth of content available and voice capabilities of Amazon Fire TV stick among the Influential Geeks and Cord-Cutting audiences. Since these audiences are especially tech-savvy they couldn't just rely on pre-roll formats so Amazon included Sharethrough Video to earn attention and include headlines to increase awareness. Amazon was able to exceed their benchmarks for completion rates and awareness while delivering CPMs and CPCVs that were well below their goals.
